:)

M900-Shifters (on Magura pod mounts)
Pace RC35 forks (hey its me after all...oh and I happened to have a pair with the dedicated magura mounts which seemed ideal)
M231 rims
Flite Ti
I would love cooks cranks, I would love a good set of M900 to be honest I think these may cause me the biggest trouble. I currently have the M730 lined up.
Oh and M735 derailleurs.

M900 just costs so much these days, and nice condition stuff is so tough to find.

A sneaky peek at the 1st build progress. Remember, this is to test the repairs that I have made to the surface finish of the frame, to ensure that they flex where they are meant to flex, before I go ahead and get it repainted.

And a shot of the RC35's with the 4 bolt magura mounts...perfect for the frame.

good to see some progress. is the back end designed to be stiff or to give a little?

The back end is designed to give some flex in theory, I have yet to try it though. The lay up of the carbon was specifically set to enable this flex in the vertical plane while horizontally remaining stiff. All clever stuff.

One of the reasons it has taken so long to get going on this project (finances aside) was due to experimenting with different filler mixes to ensure that the repairs to the surface finish will flex with the frame and not remain too stiff causing it to crack out, also hence holding off on the new paint finish.

I have now chosen and indeed used a mix that I hope will be up to the job, however I wish to build the bike and give it a little use to test the theory, before I spend money on the paint finish & final build.
