So so lucky dog walker found it in a river. Came back following day and fished it out. It's now drying out!

Lucky they threw it in the river rather than sold it for a few quid, because you would probably have never seen it again.
I think maybe less than 5% of bike theft victims get their bikes back☹
This is a great result and a good chance to upgrade the shed security. PIR light, alarm

It's good that you got it back, I presume intact and useable, albeit wet?

What a strange thing to do: break in to the shed, take the bike and then dump it, presumably nearby. It's not something that would be done just to get a ride home, an easier target would be chosen, surely. Was anything else taken?

A lot of night time activity defies rational explanation.
