Much appreciated wisdom there...infact on that basis I got busy on ebay and purchased myself a nice steel frame (DeKerf 853) with the £££s I had sideleined for the repair job !

Am also currently riding around on a repaired FAT ti (work done by IF organised by the previous owner) , its a fantastic bike possibly my favourite, so I gonna keep on riding and see what happens, although maybe not use it on every single trip to the woods & local gruffy grounds
