Kona Koa gear cables

Hi Newbie with out a clue lol, im just getting into my retro rides and konas seem to be my fav, BUT....i have a strange question i have a 1997 kona koa frame (not in the orange colour been powder coated) i can't work out how the rear draulier cable runs i know it runs down the left side of the frame but i loose it from the bb area, is there a bracket required??? has any one got any close up pics of there kona koa??? HELP!!!!! lol

It runs down the downtube through a guide which screws into the bottom bracket shell through to the rear mech.

you need one of these plastic things, generic part, still available. Note cable crosses the down tube, not a problem.

Ah cheers anthony that was the pic i was after i know about the plastic bit lol it just baffled me that it had to cross the frame??? lol thanks again
