Kona Kilauea fans

I've been looking at a Kilauea for a possible purchase - the bike looks like a 96-99 based on the set up. I'd like to know more about it. Any Kona guru's out there that can fill in some details on this bike like tube type, general experience with the bike?

You will certainly get all the info you need once you find out what year it is. Kona catalogues from 96-98 are under the archives here. There was no 99 model.

Thanks, I forgot all about the Archives! It looks like it's a 97 model and pretty well preserved. Some of the parts have been upgraded and a suspension fork was added. Should make for a good trail bike.

hi.. the suspension forks could be original. i had a 97 model with white rock shox...judys i think. sold about 4 months ago.
