Kona Kapu 1994 - pastures new

Re: Kona Kapu 1994 - finished pics P5

So, I am very, very, very proud to present the finished article; Miss Kapu ;) I'll let the pictures do the talking for now. Tomorrow I'll get the spec list together. A very quick spin around the car park indicates I can stick the seat post up half an inch, and the stem perhaps a quarter of an inch or so. Now I need some cleats and shoes so I can ride her and get back with a full report with how a) she drags me along and b) I get to grips with massive wheels and crazy gear ratios

^^^ this was where the bars had a knock in transit and the sleeve has somehow got stuck in the stem grip so it was a case of man handling it back into allignment. It meant some scoring to the bar which after polishing is much better but could do with some wet and dry in the future.

Re: Kona Kapu 1994 - finished pics P6

lovely. Im not sure about the colour matched tires tbh.
I bet she is up for a fine spring coming up. Maybe some pic on a back country road would really set of her 'skinny legs'. Enjoy

I think the red tyres are spot on...I think what you are missing is some deeper v section silver rims ;-)

Awesome sir ... I doff my cap at your unwavering diligence in attaining this ... I would have gave up much sooner

Maybe cause I'm a leggy chap and all my bikes even road have lots of post showing is this maybe tad large ?

Cracking nonetheless
