Are you ready for something a bit special?
Please read
here if you haven't for how getting this info came to be. It's worth it I promise
Phwoar! It's a 1993 Hot with ribbed downtube, raced by a US rider (I need to check who)... with a Canadian flag decal added by Paddy as a joke. He explained you couldn't get the maple leaf decals unless you were a Canadian pro-rider at the time.
It's sporting original 1994 decals, slightly mis-placed compared with the later 1994 frames of the time.
TET 1065 - 19" 1993 White c/w 1994 Decals - Triangle cut-out Dropout. Race-team bike on display at Bellingham warehouse. Canadian flag seat-tube decal.
I'm not sure what's more special: the white Hot or this. It's one of the earliest Hot's we have on record. No-one, at the moment, remembers who had it, who used it and why but it's definitely seen action over the years. It's not on any of the walls. It currently lives tucked away in an office on the premises.
Specifically, this is the 4th oldest Hot on record, any sub #100 are the earliest naturally, and makes it a 1991 model with the cut drop-outs and integrated seat-tube binder.
TET 060 - 19" 1991 Red/dark Orange - Integral Welded Seat Post Clamp. Triangle cut-out Dropout. On display at Bellingham warehouse.
