Kona Hei Hei 1994 build thread

My first Kona build. Owned many but they’ve never stayed in the collection but I feel this one is special.

Firstly a pic of how it was collected after a 4 hour journey



First job after stripping it was to refinish the frame and add some new decals from Gil.

Next up is the forks , stem , bars and Post.

I’ve decided to go gloss black on the TB P2 and stem. These are now sporting some decals from Gil where the outline has been matched to the colour of the Hei Hei logo. I’ll likely use the control centre headset too.

I wish mine was a 19/20 so I could have the odd roll round on it. But beggars can’t be choosers I guess.

Looks like everyone is looking for a 19/20 . If a 19 pops up my flexible friends gonna get a fright! The wife’s no gonna talk to me for months!! But I’ll still be a happy man

I may have a frame that might fit suit you better, it's not titanium but it's a british built frame at it finest and a lot rarer
