I can see that doing the best part of three ton. It does look like an 18" from the pictures but I'm clearly no expert.

It isn't a size 18. But nor is it a size 16. :p

They didn't use to import size 17s to the UK back in 1992, but I have seen one other example of a 1992 size 17 Explosif. Maybe you could get one to special order, I don't know, but somehow or another this one found its way to Dorset.

I put a ton bid on this then the next guy outbids me then withdraws the bid claiming to have entered the wrong amount after a couple of hours, this appears to be shenanigans.
 
I'd only worry if you'd bid £350/£400 on it and then the bid was cancelled. £100 or even £200 isn't going to win it for you...
