Grey wins.

Those forks were nicely painted and about to go on when a set the right length for the frame came on. So here she is now. I'm gong to paint the stem and forks black when I can be arsed. For now no more faffing and some riding

Just weighed in at 11.1 kg. I won't say what I weighed in at.

Looks nice now with the more correct and longer fork. The old Velocity still looks out of place though. What about using a "quill adaptor" and an ahead stem? Adaptor should be fairly easy to find on fleabay and stems are ten-a-penny

M569 cranks (4 arm) arrived and fitted. was planning to continue the m739 route but they look so much better with the black top ring. Now just waiting on a ea70 stem to match the bars and she's finished. Very excited. Pics to follow. She is a long way from the white lava dome, with gold detail I had planned to build. After finding out that was for some reason crass common and vulgar (and not totally awesome!!!) and getting a purple frame i'm about as far away from that as possible. But totally loving it. And she rides like a dream on and off road. so pleased with the end result if not the end cost :facepalm:

Cranks and stem added. Just need to redo the cables and it's done.

Looking better every time..............just need to do something about the saddle angle now ;-)

It's a battle between angle and pins and needles in the wrong places. Could come back a bit though. Will have a go on the next long ride
