Kona Break and Enter tyres

Well I have managed to sell a bike..... whoop whoop

This means I have space to build another up for spring and my thoughts went to an early P7 frame I picked up a while ago when I got all nostalgic when it seemed as if Orange Bikes might go under.

While rummaging around the garage for suitable parts I found a set of Kona Break and Enter tyres that looks as if they have seen little use and don't appear to be perished.

I thought they might do the job nicely on the P7 but then had a second thought that maybe they are sought after by Kona fans and I shouldn't trash them.

So, my question to the Kona fans out there, are these sought after in any way or should I just go ahead and use them?

Someone, somewhere will want a pair. If the labels are in good condition, the sidewalls are strong and the tread not worn, then even better. They were used for some of the 1998 range onwards for a few years. IMO, Kona never really nailled tyre design or got the compound right, but these are one of the better pairs.

Thanks for the reply. I'll put them back and leave them alone rather than trash them, they are in decent condition
