For Sale Kona Blast 1999 Orange full bike 18" - full strip down and rebuild down to loose bearings!

Hi guys

Myself and Rich at the Kona Bike Shop UK Chertsey recently were offered this 18" Blast, which was in a bit of a rough state. We have stripped it down as far as the individual pedal bearings for a full rebuild and has been of course professionally built back up, using all the bits it came with and the addition of a brand new Sram 850 chain, new brake and gear inners and outers and a full bill of health. It works great now and is a solid piece of kit. The pics will tell it all. It is no show pony but the bike really 'pops' and looks great in its orange livery. It all works as it should and could be a great retro bike for someone to have as an oldschool hack around!
The bike lives in Chertsey right now but could probably be collected from there, Camberley, Basingstoke by arrangement too.

Nice! Day-glo graphic models are 2000 btw, the bicycle database seems a bit iffy on this era. We only got the chute in '99.

Good to know, some of the records get a bit hazy! Our internal database of stuff is really good for archive maybe 2012 onwards, and our tech doc tells us lots of useful stuff like bearing sizes etc back to 1997.

That's handy! Great deal for someone considering all the work you've put into it. I'm on a new bike ban due to 'hoarding' issues. Having checked back, I think there actually was a late '99 Blast, but it was red fronted and none glowy graphics.
