Jack,

If you make your inseemlength x 0,885 you should have the ideal seatheight measured from center BB to top of the seat

Would that depend on what length cranks you were running?

Thank you all for your reply.

I will stick with the Rascal, already found a Syncros seatpost which should be just right.

Cranks which I have are 175, so I keep your formula in mind Martin.
Alias thank you for your picture, but if I look at it it's more like yoga....just kidding.

So very happy with the feedback.

Today stripped the rest of the bike, so now it's selling time.

Hey what can i say, someone decided to make 400mm seatposts and I choose to use them :D When i adjust it finally the seat will come a litle further down.
I am in the process of asembling the bike, so it was just a quick photo for Jack

I pretty much ignore seattube measurements when I look at MTBs.

I have a 15.5" 1996 Mongoose IBOC with a 130mm stem, 560mm TT

And a 19" 1997 KHS Comp with a 100mm stem, 600mm TT.

I love them both.

A slightly shorter stem on the KHS would be nice, if I see an 80 or 90 stem for cheep I'll likely get it for the KHS, but for now it's good.

I'm 6' 1.5", about 33 inseam, and have a 20" Klein Fervor. After first seeing it I thought it would be too small. I tend to adjust my seatpost height in a manner that allows my legs to not be so straight at BDC. I have no problem on that side BUT I will be switching form the 120mm Salsa rising stem to a 130mm Ritchey sloping stem. I sit a bit too upright and it's not terribly comfy, or stable feeling, when riding.
