Klein MC1 / MC2 Compatabilty

I know there are a few Klein experts within the forum so here goes.

Can anybody tell me is it possible to fit an early MC1 stem aand fork (1991 vintage I think) onto a later Attitude MC2 frame (1996)

not likely.

The MC1 uses different bearings inside and then there is a difference in the wall thickness, which may or may not be used with the ahead style MC2.

So if they are not interchangeable can I use a different fork to the rockshox I have now?

As long as it has the correct Klein specific steerer. Or keep the steerer you have and mount some different suspension forks to it.
And then there is the Reset adapter, which basically allows you to fit any standard fork to a MC2 Klein frame.

Thanks for the help.

I cant seem to get 100% confirmation but I think you are correct. The reset racing solution looks quite good until I can find an MC2 rigid fork.
