Klein Deathgrip actual width?

Hi, I'm looking to buy tires for a Klein Rascal, and I was wondering - what was the actual width of the original 2.1" Deathgrip tires? I want something that will have enough clearance, so I assume the best fit would be something similar to the original tire it came with.

I just checked my OG Deathgrip 2.3's and they're 52mm wide.

I ran a set on my Wife's Adept Pro (yes I know, not the bike they were designed for) and they were so wide they rubbed all the time. Eventually had to take them off.

Assuming it’s an early Rascal you will want 2.1s, the 2.3s were for the later MC2 era bikes which have more clearance, I believe.
