A friend of mine was asked to take some of the early publicity pics of these - as he did most of 3Ms pics and apparently 3M had a hand in the manufacturing process on the Kirks.
They were taken in the glamorous location of Swinley Forest and my wife and I were the lucky riders.
I did find them a few months ago - will have to try to dig them out.
I seem to recall we got one of the black framed Kirks for the day - I wasn't wowed!
