I've had this a while, its my go to bike I pretty much use daily and I love it. Just realised I didn't really have any photos of it.

Quite a few years back I cracked the headtube on my Scott Scale so I started thinking about what frame to go for next.
So the XC Three frame was bought from AJ Cycles and my Scott was reframed by Ben (benjabbi on here)

Back in 2007 I was itching to buy the new M970 XTR, all the reviews I read rated it apart from the brakes. I used Avid Juicy 5's thinking after a couple of years I would buy an improved version.
It turns out time was not kind to the juicy brakes, most people don't have a good word to say about them, however, mine lasted from 07 to a couple of months ago (still actually usable, just needed pads and decided I wanted to try the Clarks brakes out)

So I fitted Clarks brakes, they retail at £50. That is a bike set, including rotors and adapters! They work very well, better than I could really expect and I'm glad I went for them. Also they use the very common Shimano pads.

It doesn't look much, but it is still great to ride.
