You guys can't want it much, if you're put off by that kind of bid. It's only got a stuck seat post, how much did you reckon it would knock off the value? Bit of work with a saw, not going to kill you.

It's basically a very good bike, very light frame. The worst thing about it is it's size 20.

Funnily enough, I've just fished the lower 18cm of one of those Tahoma posts out of my tool box. Comes in handy every now and again. I had to cut it off because I needed to use the post for my son's bike and it was so bent that it wouldn't go right down in the tube without getting, err stuck. The upper part is still giving good service in some junior's frame somewhere.

So anyway, I would guess the post must have been 35cm in the first place, maybe 38, and there's about 25cm showing on this one, so you've just got a measly 10-13cm to cut out. Your granny could do it.
