Kestrel Project Complete (bar the fine tune set up) 17lb.4oz

That frame weighs nearly four pounds  is there some lead in it

Seriously though, nice frame , buy some manitou mars carbon cl as they are one of the lightest forks ever built at 2.76lb or less with some tweaking  That would give you a great chance

I'm missing something here.

My 19" zaskar frame weighs 4lb/1800g and the 18" m2 stumpy frame 1400g/3.1 lb , but i'll be buggered if i could get either less than 24lbs.............unless i forgot the wheels.

Good luck with sub 19lbs though

Alot of the weight loss is in the fork and wheels,If you get the lightest you can find then you could get to sub 21 easily, but to go lower costs a fortune and becomes an obsession.

Are those bikes full correct vintage build?? Have you suser forks? As my Trimble frames weigh 5lb 8oz and have them down to 21lb but with modern rims, stem & rigid forks. Look in my gallery.
