Thanks for the quick reply. Great you still have the original forks, but 100% riding fully rigid isn't is kindest on our ageing bodies. Shame you don't have any old pics, but this is quite normal sadly. I have no photographs of my first proper MTB from 1989, just memories...Rigid forks are in the cabinet. I had a Bomber fork on it in the early 2000’s and didn’t like it. To heavy. Our riding is single track and I’ m just experimenting. I also have a Girvin flex stem but it doesn’t do much. Origonal wheels were WTB grease guard hubs on cut down road rims I had on a early 80’s Cannondale. A real pain to fix a flat so I swapped them out. Still have the front wheel. Rear went in the bin not knowing any better.
