kenisis crosslight pro 4 question

hi,

i have a kenisis crosslight pro 4 which needs a cable guide under its bottom bracket.

there are guides across the top tube for the rear mech.

what is weird is the cable stop for the front mech is on the right hand down tube, so the missing cable guide needs to take the cable across the bottom bracket, right to left.

if anyone has one of these bikes could you senf a photo of this bottom bracket guide so i know what i am looking for?

(it does seem weird that it has a cable under the bottom bracket on a cross bike but thats what the seem to have done)

Can't you cross the cable under the down tube? That's the common routing.

well, i guss that is what will happen but the cable needs to be held away from the frame or else if will rub/rattle.

The problem is the front side of the guide needs to be as tall and towards the righthand side of the frame (or at least near the centerline of the bike)

whilst the rear end of the guide should end between the chainstays.

i am guessing at what was fitted originally,
hence the request for photos…
