Karma Section.? poll added.

hey all

After sorting thru my shed Ive come across some Karma items that i was going to offer, there seems to be a few off them floating around but as people add them to there sale thread they can be hard to find again.

So i was thinking a Karma section?

I know there has been a few karma items over the years Sold buy folk so Ive added a poll.

if the idea is more headset spacers, bottom bracket cups, the odd bolt, that should kerb it.

or make it only visible once you are logged in

or just don't give them the stuff. It will as always be up to the owner who they give the stuff to.

You shouldn't karma anything to anyone on this site untill you've sussed them out, decided if they're genuine. There have been complaints before of folk claiming poverty, being karma'd stuff then selling it on for their own profit.
A dedicated Karma section is a bad idea, it'll attract the vultures. Keep it personal although Karma feedback from recipients might be a better idea to big up the genuine good guys

and you must have Karmad first?
set rules ie if it gets spotted for sale any where
Karma ban and a bad reputation for pullin moves on karma?
I think its a great idea but wide open to abuse and trouble?

Think it's a good idea. As has been said, it's up to the person giving the part away to decide who it goes to. If you're worried about dodgy geezers just add a 'best sob story', 'best use for part' rule so you can choose who you want.

In my very own personal opinion, there is already lots of karma which takes place on here which goes relatively unannounced, without turning it into a public display of generosity or faux generosity.
