Just saved from the skip !

Hi,

I've just saved this Gary Fisher Marlin from the skip - just needs a bit of fettling and it'll be good to use. I don't know how old it is, but the frame condition is excellent.

I'm told that it was thrown out, by someone who wanted a bike with suspension.

I'd appreciate it, if anyone can provide any info. on this bike. It has a Cro Mo frame, but beyond that, I know little more. I'm guessing that it's about 20 years old ?

Well done for saving it! Gary fishers are of good quality although it's lowish in the range and has equipment to match its spec! But by and large its a good find and should see out quite a few more years if you look after it

Worth saving, I have Aquila from 1995 and I love the ride/geometry so much so that it will be upgraded with better components

I have found may in skips the dump , scrap medal yards , recycle yards even the side of the road with a forsale sign on it
