No worries Mick,

I shall probably be on my newly built 1975 Philbrook tourer...look forward to seeing you.

Jon.

I haven't ridden my road bike for over 3 years, but ill dust it off over the next couple of weeks and see what sort of state im in after a couple of trial runs..

What sorts of gradients/mountains would we be facing on this arduous challenge?

Regret no Hors category climbs...a coastal ride, so pretty flat but far from dull...you could even ride fixed on this one.

Cheers, Rk.

Sounds like a great excuse to get back on the road. Be seeing you there. (flirting with retro on my 1998 road bike)

Re:

Well I'm coming along on a single speed so hopefully I will get the gearing right or I'm going to have busy legs!!! ;)

Mick

Re:

I'm not usually as up for road rides as I am for mtb rides but this one is quite near me so I should be along. Also I haven't got a proper retro road bike but I have just been given this very sad looking thing,
