Joining the Clockwork club

Bought myself a 1992 Orange Clockwork frame and forks off theredchili. Should have it with me sometime this week.

Ever since I was a young lad I always wanted a clockwork in the distinctive white and orange colours. It is in need of restoration as it is showing it age somewhat but it will keep me busy for a bit!

Once I have the stem removed from the forks (James tells me its stuck in place) I will be sending it to Garry at Graphic Shack for a repaint.

Now I just need to decide what bits to use on it, hmmm.

On my original clockwork , I had a white turbo seat cover , never seen one since !

Built this up today to use as a pub bike. I was going to have the frame and forks refinished but I cannot be bothered at the moment. Will get some pictures up tomorrow but as it stands its far from period correct!

Spec is:

1992 Clockwork frame,
Pace RC30 forks,
M737 rear hub,
Pace front hub,
X517 ceramic rims,
M737 rear mech,
M737 shifters,
M900 front mech,
M750 V brakes and levers,
Chris King no threadset,
Ringle Zooka stem,
Hyperlites,
Tioga psycho 2 tyres.

One problem I do have is the front outer spokes run very close to the bottom of the RC30 dropouts. I wonder if I need to get it radially laced or something like that to combat this.
