Zing! That is looking Fresh Fork choice?

Just the normal 'Orange' rigid forks, have been looking for something like a Pace RC35, but they tend to go for good money.

Who did you use to paint @stiff, what was the cost and what has their customer service been like? I have to admit to yet own a clockwork but then 21's are not the usual size for sale. I am quite enjoying this thread though with some great ideas.

I used Enigma Paintworks. They are part of Enigma bikes who make Titanium bikes. Still got to get the final price as I had some other work done at the same time.
They are not cheap though, I met them at a bike show and was really impressed by the quality of their work, and I want to give my faithful Clockie the WOW! factor.
Customer service has been good, they've just been expanding their paintshop (and I took a unplanned vacation) so it has taken a little longer than normal, but the guy spraying my bike has called me several times to confirm colour choices and the exact placing of decals etc.

The colour I went for is one of their own colours called Fluo Orange, It's near enough to the original Orange colour but has a really nice lustre to it.

Thanks for the information. Seen their website and really like what I see – they certainly can do the wow factor. Nice job. They're the right end of the country for me so I could potentially drive down from N London when I'm going on a jaunt into sussex

Question: if anyone had a classic '89 or '90 Clockwork frame to play with, what colour scheme would be considered a classic example or what colours would people consider for a refurb? The orange/white fade? Pearl White? A sparkling orange? Any other colour? What do you reckon chaps?

Classic would be orange/white. Black with the spaced out decals would also be classic but I usually think of the Prestige with that paint job. The rarer colours were yellow/white or pink/white around 1989/90.

I came across some Orange Catalogues http://www.goatsurfer.com in the 1992 there is an interesting clockwork in a blue/purple colour with the rear parts of the chain/seat stay and the lower half of the forks done in a pinky/purple colour. I've never seen one like this.

Thanks Chaps! Just had a look at the link. Interesting purple Clockwork there. My Clockwork frame is that shape but came in a very dark colour or sort of black with a shiny teal speckle in it (must have been an odd frame hanging about). It had decals from '93 on it.

I do love the classic orange fade scheme and I agree about the Prestige (just been looking at the old brochure). Btw Brocklanders, your '89 yellow and white is just fantastic.

Having looked at the Enigma Bikes website I'm very tempted by a full classic scheme resto now.

The bike above is the same colour as the purple/orange fade that has popped up on here a few times. Never seen one with that design but remember thinking how cool they were from the catalogue.

That the colour scheme mine was I got it from 2XS down in the Witterings. Eventually added Manitou 2's to it.
