Lovely. Must have one of these one day. Is this a 19" and did they ever make a 20/21" in 1992?

Not sure about the early ones but they did do a 21" As was my 1999 lurid 'slime' green clockwork was. Im 6' 3" and i found the fit good. I will say though the set up was the similar with the towering seatpost and low bars.
Pretty sure they would have. :?

Not in relation to yourself but ill put this up anyway for the benefit of all.
I need to photo it and add it to the archive.
I actually have the 98 ad poster with all the models/sizes/bumpf sitting right next to me so here is a couple of the 21" sizes for you to mull over.

Personally i need to get another  wish i'd never sold it :x

21" Frame listed as for 1998. All measurements as far as i can ascertain are taken center to center.

Head angle-70.5 degrees
Seat angle-73 degrees
Top tube length-583mm
Bottom bracket height-35mm (Hey, its as its written. No, i dont know why its there  )
Chainstay length-420mm
Headtube length-140mm
Fork offset-45mm
Wheelbase-1070mm
Rider height range-6'0"-6'4"
10 degree rise stem maximum length-145mm
Steerer length-223mm
Seatpost-26.4mm Shimmed to 29.6mm
Frame weight- 2100 grams :? a bit spot on.

Re:

Question: if anyone had a classic '89 or '90 Clockwork frame to play with, what colour scheme would be considered a classic example or what colours would people consider for a refurb? The orange/white fade? Pearl White? A sparkling orange? Any other colour? What do you reckon chaps?

Re:

I've had my 91 Clockie for about 5 years, really love it, and managed to get 2nd in the retro pairs at Big Dog a couple of years ago.
Decided it was time for a refurb and today got the pictures back from the painters, just waiting for the lacquer coats to finish it.
It may not be the Original Orange shade but I like it.

Will be finished with original XT Derailleurs F&R, XT Canti's & XT Seatpost, LX Cranks with Biopace chainrings, Orange Stalk and Hot Rod bars, everything in polished alloy. White cables and Orange branded saddle.
Wheels are not original because I do like to use the bike and don't have much faith in older second-hand rims, so It's modern XT hubs with Mavic rims, but clad in skinwall Panaracer Smoke and Dart tires. Will post up finished build.

Nice frame there and looking great so far. Be good to see more pics as yours progresses.

Where did you get that repainted/finished and what colour spec for that sizzling orange was used? I'm thinking of getting mine done again in either all orange or orange/white fade.
