Sunday morning ride's a complete no goer. Gusting to 40 mph and lashing it down. I've had the galloping trots for the last few days and this morning I thought I'd be feeling well enough to do an easy - ish ride. Damn.

Likewise! I've been man flu'd up and off my feet for the past few days, was looking forward for a dart around the quiet streets that London offers up early on a sunday morning, looked out the window and retired back under the duvet.... wake me in the spring :(

Even if I got togged up for it I'd end up soaked from the inside out with sweat instead of rain. I bought a Gore tex jacket years ago thinking that it was the bee knees (ha! No more soakings for me I stupidly thought... ) but it only "breathes" OK if you take things really easy and don't exercise too hard.

The rain would run down my neck anyway. :(

.

Worse here, gusting to 60mph and v.heavy rain all night. My parents bought the caravan down for the weekend and the bottom half of the site has flooded over night  Fortunately they were in the top half :D
Supposed to be brightening up later

Lashing it down here in Manchester as well, cancelled my Sunday morning ride, and now lumbered with going shopping

Hell, that's double bad luck.

Pissing down in NW4. May have to buy some water wings
Oh the joy of winter :x

Got my Univegas new slicks fitted last week ready for a nice long ride on the lanes round here, woke up yesterday with a bloody awful migraine which lasted all day, woke up this morning feeling fit as a fiddle then looked out of the window
To make matters worse the mrs says "why dont we go into town and do some clothes shopping"
Anyone know how to tie a noose? ;)
