Surely he was at his best on The Golden Shot.

No, no you're thinking of Bob Hope.

No, no, no and thrice no - not the guy that got killed in the place crash, nor the Big Bopper.

Bob Hoskins is a totally different Bob.

Ah - the guy that was in Get Shorty.

Bob Hope was the guy from way back who used to hang around with Bing Crosby, you know, David Bowies father. Bob Hope was married to Doris Day and they also had a son called Darren.....Darren Day.

Of course - I can see it all, now - Darren had an older brother - quite a bit older, as it happens, who had a penchant for large, bright bow ties.

Easy to see how they can all get a bit mixed up, isn't it - they're all just a bit same-y, really.
