I like LEGO too, especially the sets from my childhood which I'm fortunate enough to still have. My first Technic set was this one. My dad went away on a training course and brought it back for me. Prior to that I'd had quite a few of the town sets, but this was the first 'grown up' set.

I think this was my first Lego Technic probably 40 years ago. 4 cylinder reciprocating engine, a 3 speed transmission, a working rear differential, working rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, and adjustable and reclining seats (all according to http://www.technicopedia.com/8860.html). Still the best Christmas present I ever had and I wish I still had it.
