Never seen a '96 rasta flames frame, but @al-onestare 's Hot is the only one I've seen that mixes flames and the 96 decals. And boy does it look good!

Ah, memories. Such a great bike I'm super blessed to have.

Yes pleaseFinal post for today. If I had a blank canvas 1997 Hot to paint, today, I'd go with something I've never seen in the flesh but must have existed.
In the edition of BIKE magazine I've often referenced for the Misser Replica build, is a competition to win a Kona "dual-slalom" frame the Misser brothers "raced". There is an illustration of the frame livery.
Would you like to see it for your consideration?

Paint by Mercian / decals by Gil (IMHO)There are two options
Paint by Mercian / decals by Gil
Or
Airbrushed with no decals.
I’m currently swaying towards a 97 style font and airbrush. But I’m not sure if that’s wise.
If you can hold fire till Thursday when I'm back home I'll take a pictureYes please. I’m so open to any ideas
Does anyone do a quality water slide alternative to the thick vinyl decals?
