It’s getting HOT in here ….

Do you know what the original colour was?
Unfortunately not. The frame first appears on here around 2008 but obviously is the current colour at that point as it was done in 98.

I’m actually also tempted to have it painted in the same blue it’s lived most of its life in and add 96 decals as it’s a nice colour and feels fit since it’s been this way for so long.

With a set of P2's painted in the same colour

The current colour is nice. Does it have a fleck in it like the green one in the other thread? If not, could be an option. Were the '96 P2's silver/grey? Shouldn't be too hard to find either.

It’s more green than the pictures suggest with a slight fleck to it. My only issue with going with the same colour is that it’s a whole load of cash to end up with the same colour (and I have quite a few blue bikes too)

I do like a blue bike. There’s a GT colour that came on the Edge Aero that’s a blue/green/purple colour depending on which way the light shines on it. That would be really cool to see replicated. It’s the sort of colour appropriate to that age of bike.

Yes or maybe a black P2.

Or I do have a 96 Z2 which I could have colour coded too.

Argggghhhh I’ll change my mind 7 more times before bed
I have the same issue with my ‘94 Explosif, so many options, though I at least have a constraint of it has to work with a set of red Hope ti-glides?
