It’s getting HOT in here ….

Never seen a '96 rasta flames frame, but @al-onestare 's Hot is the only one I've seen that mixes flames and the 96 decals. And boy does it look good!

It’s pretty awesome.

I know this is silly , (blue and red is my favourite colours) but I’ve lots of bikes in those colours. But nothing in yellow or green. So it kinda seems right to go Rasta on this

I like the solid single colours, I think I'm stuck in 1992.
Wasn't there a pastel green one pictured on here recently? That all Red one that was on ebay back in the summer was really tempting too. (not very adventurous I know)

I personally like the red burgundy metallic of 96 too. But I’ve too many red bikes and feel it would just blend in too much.

most of my bikes are actually silver or bare (Ti or alloy) as I like the plain understated look. But something in me says a Hot should be a wild colour

You’ve got a hot? In stars and bars? I didn’t know.

I may well pop over at some point. But I think I’ve ruled it out as a repaint as I’m not sure it can be done 100% correct.

Yep, I have a ‘96 Hot in Stars. I’ve had it 15 years. It’s the frame that lead to me joining here. I had no idea this site existed until I found it while researching my frame.

Also have a ‘97 A’ha in Stars if you wanted to compare the factory and custom paints.

I agree mate, Rasta flames is the way to go.

I did bid on that 16” one in US but went to low as the shipping was so high. If I had won that one I would have had it redone exactly as it was (dark green metallic with yellow decals like the 97 Lava Dome).

Seeing all these pics makes me so jealous, one day one will come along…
