Not another 'is this a zaskar post' !! Yes it looks like a 14.5" zaskar from 1995 ish, just with fairly rubbish parts. As always, you need to ask the seller for the serial number to clarify
The fork lets it down, those Ballistic elastomer forks were very poor. Some of the groupset and especially the brakes(Gravity Research?) make this a bit of a bargain,if its a genuine Zaskar then bonus but if not the bits alone make it well worth the punt.
Guys, you are all lost. That's one of the rarish 1995 24" wheel GT Zaskars that came stock with the Ballistic Elastomer fork. Originally sold as a frame and fork kit w/stem.
GT produced these as an upscale starting race bike for kids back in the day when Shimano was sponsoring a Youth series of races at all the NORBA Nat's and grundigs.
Anyway this one is gone already. Was just to good a deal.
Im sure it was one of these 24 inch wheel zaskar's that Jamie Tompkins (son of mrcrud) rode in his early days as he was quite small and had a bit of trouble with a 26er.
