Nice! GCN (their sister channel) did the same a few years back with racing bikes. Both are good channels - pretty well balanced & don't take themselves too seriously.
It's an interesting comparison tho - and a good one for all of us in terms of the end verdict!

Technology moves on etc etc but a 29er full sus trail bike with 6" of travel wasn't around when I was 14 but a Klein Adroit was. Sadly I can only afford the trail bike now :roll:

the guy just came across as a bit of a bike snob. the pro flex was excellent tech for the time. as LDP said tech moves on. id take the pro flex all day over the big wheeled monstrosity.

Hmm. Not really a fair comparison with the Girvin fork vs a telescopic. A four-bar linkage was available then which would have been a more appropriate comparison too. Nice riding shots though.
