IS IT ONLY ME THAT LIKES COIL & ELASTOMER FORKS?

I'm convinced that most about the people who drone on about how crap elastomers are and how much the forks flex have never actually used them - but of course they will maintain that they know exactly what they are talking about
I've had judys, quadras and pace elastomer forks. I'd not go back to them. On the whole, compared to what i have now, they really aren't up to scratch.

And I question whether all said bells, buzzers and gongs actually make you go any FASTER.....
Hell yeah.

Yes I like them and appreciate the simplicity. Modern stuff is great sometimes but I suspect most riders don't set them up right

Its very easy, you can even go on the manufacturers website for recommended pressures and rebound settings, then you can experiment with them from there to feel exactly how you want.

If you just borrow someone else's set up for a bit, it might not feel right. But there is no need to ride around on the wrong setup.

loads of people do though.
Take something medium/high end with adjustments on compression, rebound, blow off, pressure, air chamber volume and oil weight. Then you have two or three modes as well.......

Chances are pretty good that a) it's set up wrong and b) making adjustments when they aren't looking probably wouldn't be noticed anyway!

I mean, my new bike hasn't been ridden enough for me to get round to setting it up......
