Is 1998 classed as retro? Just wondering about value

Hi I have a Scott Boulder in the black and cream team colours and from research I believe its a 1998. Shimano deore lx everything, rockshox forks and original Scott team racing seat in red and black with yellow stitched writing.
Any ideas?
