Insults, what can you get away with ?

Depends on who's saying what.
I found that "Does my bum look big in this ?" she asks ... "No" says I ... "Not only that." I felt to be accurate and informative but wasn't taken as such.
Wheras my 7 year old daughter calling me "a big fat bumhole !" which is only partially correct is found to be rather amusing by the same party.

Far more annoying is when youve taken the time and effort to come up with a right cracker and it flys straight over their heads.
Oh and when the wife says "Why have I gone and done that?"apparently its rhetorical and to reply "because youre an idiot " doesnt go down too well.
