Actually worked, nearly bomb proof. I rode them in 94, and the world was a different place. They performed flawlessly without any maintenance for over a decade. I wish I still had them, wouldn't hesitate to use them in place of a steel rigid

TBF Forks had to start somewhere, and they got better fast - but without the xc600 we wouldn't have got to bombers.

Would buy either the Girvin or the Amp if the right opportunity came along, I can't really imagine ever finding a Lawwill. I am an oddball, I'd love to use those

It's lucky we don't collect this stuff because it's better...

I owned some amps from new - it was a relief to go back to telescopic after a year or 2.
We've had a few bikes with girvins - they work, but it isn't nice
