Since you asked for opinions, I can state mine without feeling like I'm butting in. How about just doing a re spray to original colors and scheme? If not, then how about just going really F ing crazy and doing a Union Jack fade on it. I mean literally, not just the colors. Paint a British flag on that bad boy and then fade out or into it on the edges, your choice. I may be a bit touched in the head, but I think that would look pretty bad a$$.

Either option to be done well would cost more than the build. Nice idea though.

I'm currently doing a road bike in a pearl white,of sorts, and it DOES look very nice. I guess depends on if you"re going for cool or nice. The yellow and black scheme sounds good too. Looks like yo have a big decision ahead of you. I can't wait to see it getting done

You can just about make out the color on the top shelf, not sure where you are but these guys do a half decent job for the price as well. This frame was coated by them. http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/10347327/
