Dawes looks absolutely perfect the way it is set up at the moment. Still one of the nicest looking bikes I've seen in a looong time.I do like a triple butted P2, lovely riding fork, they seem few and far between unthreaded though, let alone uncut. I wanted one for the Dawes but gave up looking, then the alloy fork turned up and I think suits better anyway.
Yeah, they're not easy to come by at all. I think that if I need a fork in the future I will go the custom route with Marino bikes. Starting at 80 dollars, which results in less than 200 bucks for a custom fork, think that's pretty solid.
