Identifying my ‘Kona Kilauea’

Hi guys, new member first time posting! I have recently purchased a bike, guy on eBay said it was a Kona Kilauea from the 90’s but don’t know how to identify it as one. No decals as it was originally black and has had an awful red rattle can job on it at some point. Also, not taken it to pieces yet to find the serial number (I know where it’s meant to be but the gear cable guide is in the way). Would appreciate any help in identifying it, photos included but can take more of specific parts if that helps.

Little bit more info: original shimano XT shifters and derailers, original forks, upgraded flat bars to some DMR wingbars, put some brown wall Shwalbes on it and it has two random wheels. Needs plenty more work and a paint job but it’s a nice project for £30 plus parts!

Would have to see the bottom of the seat tube, ideally from the other side.
