Id help, and what to do with this.

I think this is a Mongoose Amplifier somewhere around 93/94, can anyone confirm that for me?

Also any thoughts on what to do with it, the original plan was to restore it, but after getting it and taking some measurements I think the 18" is slightly bigger than I'd prefer.

My choices are to keep the King headset and Icarus brakes that came with it and sell the rest or build the bike as a commuter.

Yep, looks like a Mongoose Amplifier...albeit mine is black so could be an Amp B2? I'm sure Mr Zero can confirm.

I've no idea, but I like seeing folks workshops :) whats that you got hanging up?

The length of the shock and the shock mounting location definitely pegs it as a B2/Amplifier. Since the seat stays are open at the dropout I'd say it's a 1994 model year.

Consider holding onto it if it fits. I recently built up a small/17" B2 at 21.9lbs and it only took one ride for it to become the new favorite FS bike in my stable.

I think that Mongoose's frame numbers were M... and AMP's were C...
