Ibis Titanium with Kona P2 Titanium forks??

Blimey, that's all I can say.

Its a nice frame but the rather expensive wheels / fork / mech and cranks probably help. Bit rich for me. I'm oot.

Re:

Asked the seller twice politely to measure the TT length C2C and crank length and even gave him a schematic on how to measure it. He just came back with the head tube length   Looks a bit too small for me and will prolly hit £2500+

Il join the queue showing interest in the forks too.

Re:

Some info about Ti P2 forks

The steerer and dropouts were made my Paragon Machine Works. In particular the steerer was made from solid bar stock because no tubing was available with the right size and thickness even for the final machining. Really a work of art

I guess its a large frame so will be circa 19inch in old money.
My two are mediums which come up as 17 ish inch frames.

I'd b interested in the cranks if anybody here buys and splits.

It surprises me the level of interest especially when there's a BowTi on eBay currently. Maybe its cos the Bow is only a frame.

I know you all fawn over these and their ilk, but outside of a kona or maybe pace, we didnt get these type of bikes.

The most exotic bike i saw in the 90's was a santa cruz.

Re:

He doesn't show a close up picture of the front mech, but it looks like a Precision Billet also.

Does anyone know if the crank is titanium or steel?

Re:

Getting to the point of break even price Ido you think? if brought to split.
Thats presuming there is no unknown damage or cracks anywhere.

Sure the forks are rare, but how many people would actually come through if the forks were offered for say £500?
Lot of money for a fork I reckon.

Maybe im completely wrong lol :-D
