Ibis szazbo 1995 (was Guess what I got)

Here I have some pics of the updates I made over the last year.
The Judys got replaced by a rather modern Magura O24U forks. The Judys dampening cartridge just did not work for me. And the Magura is so much better, I think I will keep them.

Last week, the trusty old Ritchey headset gave in. Time for a permanent soution: Chris King. Soo smooth :D

Next up will be 9speed casette and some deore triggers. Not the best looking but they do work well.

Re:

The Judy's looked better if I'm honest but good to see its still out and about

such a cool URT :D

Yea, you're right. But its got to be "form follows function" in this case.
Maybe, if I happen to come across a cheap hydracoil Judys, I will upgrade the red Judy DHs and give them a second chance.
With their plastic dampening cartrige loosing oil every now and then, they just dont cut it...

Really enjoyed looking through this thread - fantastic pictures around the lake, makes me want to do that trip!

I like the bike too, not normally a fan of suspension but the ibis is an exception - good work.
