As per everywhere else it is absolutely p*ssing down outside. So I just happened to do some browsing on eBay and came across these with 3 minutes left and ZERO bidders.

Moment of madness or sanity

Paid £25 for them, Seller anybody on here??

Couple of Q's, What are they (Yep I know they're forks AND Manitou's) How old? What the hell am I going to do with them???? (Gawwwd another build is springing to mind ;) )

Seller states 195mm Steerer unthreaded, 50-60mm travel

Here's a few pics (sorry about the quality but pulled straight off the Ad)

Grannygrinder can I have my Merlin frame back ;) ;)

Manitou Comps.

I think they are basically Manitou Three's but they rebadged them when the Fours came out, but that could be over simplifying things. They are handsome forks and the CNC brace is particularly nice.

Pretty much it!

As above.....Manitou Comp, came originally on my '95 WCF and then I went and sold them

Lovely looking fork  ....and worked OKish as I recall.

Manitou Sport.

Nice forks. I ran Manitou Comps on my old DB Response Elite and they are near identical.

Thanks for the replies - appreciated.

Now I've got to decide what I'm going to do with them.

:?: :?: :?:

Go very well on Marin bikes of that era.

SEANSTEPHENS,
Does your signature really have to take half of my screen up ? :(

On my 16:10 wide-screen, it takes up the full screen height
