Things will only be in your address bar if they are used from there on your computer, so probably not a Wi-Fi hacking problem. Certainly use WPA2 instead of WEP but if you have home hub it's should already be using
Sounds like malware on your computer uploading and downloading stuff or someone using it as a BOT or remotely loggin in and using it, if you use iPlayer or other on demand thing it'll be easy to go over a 2GB or such cap. Torrent's and other things will continue to upload and count towards your cap limit.
Use the above SpyBot, or if you trust someone here and you use messanger get them to have a look through remotely via it or remote assistance/login.
One thign to do is clear you cache/history/etc in your browser and then do not use it, check it next time you use it.
