I hesitate to use the word "reasonable" in the context of 2nd hand bikes, but for the iconic paint scheme it doesn't seem crazy.

Yeh I saw that one. To be honest if I was spending £2k on a frameset I’d simply buy the Sunburst one at £5k. But I’m not at that stage currently (lots of changes recently mean it’s a bad idea to spend big on bikes) as I’m trying to strike a deal on another fairly expensive bike ( sub £1500) which I’d like as a keeper.

I also had the itch a few years ago and built this... think its 97 so blend of original klein and some Trek, nicer than the all-out Treks they did later and way better value than some of the earlier ones imo.

Rode it a fair bit in early lockdown and deffo understood what they mean by 'Klein spine'... stiff isn't the word lol
