How retro are the original Hope Big-uns?

I have some Hope Big-uns spoked up to some Sun (Sunn?) Rhino rims that I have had for quite a few years now from new and I reckon they must be getting towards being retro!

i reckon definately retro now coz they don't make them anymore!

surely if you can't buy it new then that means it's old and old equals retro!

Ha ha, i've got retro parts!!! Never really thought of Hope Big 'Uns being retro til now, got them fitted on my FSR, with C2 Hope Disc Brakes. Oh, and they are RED!!!

Not retro, but almost... i would love to put my hands on a rear red one, to match the front hub i have at home...

I'm still rockin' a set of big un's and an old style black C2 caliper with nice and chunky hope levers (the ones that became 'sport' levers) on my main bike. However I think these fall into the category of OLD (and reliable mind) rather than retro

Victorzip, there's a rear red big-un, laced to a 24"rim, on ebay at the moment?

Says he won't post overseas, but you could get someone here to bid on it and post it ... if your that desparate?
