A colleague was bemoaning his lot the other day, having children late, he's going to be in his 70s before they produce grand kids etc etc.
Congratulated me on being sensible and having kids at 30.

Had to laugh, and then point out i was already a specialist and 10 years into my career when i started working with him 8 years ago........

Turns out he was only 2 years older than me when he had his first kid.

I'm 40, not 30.

im 42 but doe some reason everyone thinks i'm in my lat 20's if I shave my beard or early 30s if all bearded up...well mid thirtys no theres a bit of gray in it. god only knows why...i feel 60
